Broad Peak 8051 meters (26,414 feet)

COVID forced us to cancel our initial trip. We are now working to get back on track!

One of only 14 peaks above 8000 meters, Broad Peak is in the Karakoram Range of Northern Pakistan. It is very close to K2, the world’s second highest peak and about a week’s walk along the Baltoro glacier from the nearest village.

Research expeditions to the high mountains have resulted in unique insights into human physiology. Our Summer expedition will primarily investigate changes in the efficiency of exercise while adapting to the hypoxia of high altitude.

We are actively seeking partners with additional projects they would like to conduct.
