Our Next Expedition - 2020

Broad Peak 8051 meters (26,414 feet)

One of only 14 peaks above 8000 meters, Broad Peak is in the Karakoram Range of Northern Pakistan. It is very close to K2, the world’s second highest peak and about a week’s walk along the Baltoro glacier from the nearest village.

Research expeditions to the high mountains have resulted in unique insights into human physiology. Our expedition in the Summer of 2020 will primarily investigate changes in heart rhythms, respiratory patterns and sleep while adapting to high altitude.

We are actively seeking partners with additional projects they would like to conduct.
